Olympia, Washington is home to not only one the top trop rock events in the nation but also to one of trop rock’s brightest young stars. With two new shows opening in the prestigious Act II Entertainment Stages The Red Room Cabaret in Puerto Vallarta THIS WEEK, and a third opening in December, she has also been an ambassador for the genre, delivering live performances in the last two years from the Bahamas to Puerto Vallarta to Baja to Seattle, from Calgary to Ontario, New England to Key West and South Padre Island. Laid Back Attack welcomes Brittany home, to the place of her birth and to the festival that first introduced her to the trop rock world in 2013.
Olympia is also home to singer-songwriter Rob Hill, who wrote or co-wrote with Brittany all of her hit songs, including the raucous 2015 TRMA Song of the Year “Tequila Talking.” The songwriting team reunites in Olympia July 20-23 for Laid Back Attack XV, when “Beach Town”, Rob’s first album since 2009’s “God, Love & Mexico” is scheduled for release!
Brittany and Rob join the previously announced performers as part of an unparalleled trop rock lineup that includes evening headliners Southern Drawl Band, Peter Mayer and Brendan Mayer, Ramajay Intercoastal, Latitude and Stars on the Water, along with multi-award winner Donny Brewer Music and returning LBA fave Eric Stone. And more to come soon!
