Wow! Emily Randle rocks the violin! And she’s joining an amazing lineup of musicians at Laid Back Attack XV in the great Pacific Northwest July 20-23, when the biggest trop rock event west of the Mississippi takes over the Hotel RL Olympia in Washington’s quirky character-filled capital city.
Emily Randle studied violin at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.M.) and the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, or CCM (M.M.). She is currently a member of The U.S. Army Strings (“Pershing’s Own”), stationed at Ft. Myer, VA. Prior to moving to the D.C. area, Ms. Randle was a member of The Louisville (KY) Orchestra, and then returned to her native Chicago to perform with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Ravinia Festival, Joffrey Ballet, and Chicago Sinfonietta. Ms. Randle has composed and produced two original musicals, studied orchestral conducting, and toured as bassist with the rock band Soulstice. She’s toured with Peter Mayer and John Frinzi and recently released her solo EP “Girl of My Dreams.”
Emily joins the stellar trop rock lineup that includes Peter Mayer and Brendan Mayer, Southern Drawl Band, Ramajay Intercoastal, Stars on the Water, Latitude, Donny Brewer Music, Brittany Kingery, Rob Hill Music – Game Six, Drop Dead Dangerous, The Djembabe, Eric Stone Music, Aaron Scherz and Dave Roberts.
Registration opens in January.
